Meeting Rooms
Library meeting room are available to local groups for a nominal fee. The scale is sliding, depending on the size of the room and the frequency of usage, from $15.00 to $20.00 per usage.

The Library has technical devices and internet ready meeting rooms. Technical services include , Presentation Projector, Overhead projectors, Computers, Scanning and Printing available.
 
        The meeting rooms at the library are:
1. For use by non-profit Chelsea organizations for public meetings of an educational, cultural or civic nature.
2. For programs sponsored by Chelsea Public Library. The use of the rooms shall be in anagreement with the general purpose of the library.
        The rooms will not be available for entertainment meetings. The rooms may be used neither for an occasion requiring and admission fee nor for meetings involving direct financial gain
        No solicitation for collection of funds of any description shall be permitted at any meeting.
        Special services such as use of a telephone of transmittal of messages shall not be requested. Cancellation of a meeting should be reported promptly.
        Smoking is not permitted,
        Serving of light refreshments will be permitted if prior arrangements are made.
        Evening meetings must close at or before 8:00 PM
        All checks or money orders must be made out to the City Of Chelsea and returned to the adult circulation desk; cash payments also will be paid at the adult circulaton desk. All monies received are deposited in the city's General Fund.
        All groups must fill in and sign the form provided for this purpose.
        The Board of Trustees establishes the policy regarding room use and is the sole authority interpreting these rules. The library Director has the supervisory responsibility as delegated by the Library Trustees.
