Regularly scheduled sweeping of Chelsea's residential streets begins April 1st each year and continues through November. Beginning on the 1st of each month, on the day after trash collection, one side of each street will be swept: the odd side on the 1st and 3rd sweeping day, and the even side on the 2nd and 4th sweeping day.
